Southside Worship Arts is made up of many adults, students, and children of all ages and backgrounds. We are brought together to connect with the Lord Jesus Christ and His church and to lead God’s people in authentic worship. Our goal is to train individuals to utilize their spiritual and musical gifts to bring glory to God and to communicate salvation to the lost and encouragement to believers. As an artistic ministry, we believe in the pursuit of excellence for the glory of God. As the psalmist so eloquently stated, “I will not offer to the Lord that which cost me nothing;” so we strive to offer the Lord an authentic and excellent sacrifice. As you will see through our different musical and artistic groups, the Worship Ministry strives to use different styles and dialects of worship to allow the people of God to both serve and experience Jesus Christ. We invite YOU to come and be part of our team!
WORSHIP CHOIR
This electrifying group leads worship every week under the direction of John Blair, Worship Pastor. Beyond Sundays, the Choir is a community of believers who connect with one another through Care Groups and social gatherings throughout the year. In addition to leading worship, the Choir provides music for special events in the church and community.

BAND/ORCHESTRA
This unique team of skilled and professional musicians leads with humble hearts and excellent musicianship. Led by John Blair, Worship Pastor, the band and orchestral instruments serve Southside each week and in the community of Savannah. The Band and Orchestra also provide music for special events such as Worship Nights, Christmas Worship, and more. We want to glorify the name of Jesus in providing a corporate worship experience through song. You will find information regarding service times and location at oursbc.org.

FRONTLINE
Along with the bands, our Frontline leads worship each week in engaging our church and community in worship. This ministries is an extension of Worship Choir and is a next level for those gifted in vocal leadership. Outside of Sunday mornings, Frontline enjoy social gatherings together and occasionally lead worship for other ministries. If you have a heart for worship in an authentic community then get connected through Frontline!
