Thrive Express Savannah – Executive Director, Paula Kinard
Thrive Express Savannah offers Women’s Health Care services at Low Cost or No Cost. Services include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STI testing and referrals, social services and referrals for housing, medical care, counselling, utility assistance, food and more. During the time the young lady is with them, the staff offers to pray for her and share Jesus with her. Several have already come to know the Lord through this ministry. They are located on Frederick Street across from Planned Parenthood. Hope Academy – Brian Flood
Hope Academy helps people find their Hope and Pursue their Purpose through English learning and cultural integration. It is a not for profit organization which offers adults English for speakers of other languages (ESOL). The are located at 106 E 37th St, Savannah, Georgia 31401. PACK
P.A.C.K. is a non-profit organization committed to helping meet the basic needs of children in our community. P.A.C.K. provides over 10,000 bags of food monthly to Chatham County public school children. They also work with other charities and government organizations to provide food, clothing, and toiletries to children and families in need.
SOUTHSIDE GROUP OPPORTUNITIES
- Packing Food Bags: We pack approximately 300 food bags on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, from 6:00 – 7:30pm.
- We have a group of volunteers that deliver food bags to the classrooms at Juliette Low School, on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:30.
- Our church also sponsors a closet in the Foster Care Boutique located in the P.A.C.K. building. We collect clothes for boys and girls, sizes 24 months & 2T.
