Dr. Stuart Doyle
Stuart Doyle is the lead pastor for Southside Baptist Church. Stuart received his Bachelor of Science degree from Union University, his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate from Southwestern Seminary. Stuart served on staff at churches in Tennessee and Texas before moving to Savannah. He and his wife Natalie have a strong passion for developing friendships and mobilizing missions for the gospel. They are celebrating 11 years of marriage and have three children: Mayah, Gabriel, and Aiden.
Jon Humphreys oversees the 6th-12th grade and College ministries. Jon received a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University and a Master of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon and his wife Laura have been married 15 years and have four kids Lydia, Joshua, Marianna, and Esther.
Jeff currently serves as Director of Music and Worship Arts. Jeff is a native of Georgia living his young adult life in Savannah attending Armstrong State University in pursuit of his Bachelor of Music degree. He also studied Voice and Choral music at Lee University. Jeff has served several churches in the Savannah Hilton Head area for the last 30 years and served as interim Music Director at Southside Baptist Church from 2005 to 2010, and once again since the Fall of 2015. Jeff is married to Jennifer, his wife of 20 years and is father to Joel (17), Julia (16), and Jenna Joy (13)
April Brown currently serves as Children's Director at Southside Baptist Church. April earned a BM in music at Valdosta State University and studied Christian Education at Asbury Theological Seminary. Prior to moving to Savannah, April served on staff at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, GA for seven years and in other ministry areas in Florida and Ohio. She has also served in both public and private Christian Elementary Education for over a decade. April and her husband, Russell, have two children, Hannah and Joshua.
Cindy oversees the ministry to preschool children, birth through kindergarten. Cindy has worked in preschool and children’s ministry and children’s advocacy programs for over twenty-five years and has directed the preschool ministry at Southside for eighteen years. She and her husband Scott have been married for thirty-four years, and they have one daughter, Rebecca, a son-in-law, Stephen, and two grandchildren, Ethan and Ellie.
