Dr. Stuart Doyle
Stuart Doyle is the lead pastor for Southside Baptist Church. Stuart received his Bachelor of Science degree from Union University, his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate from Southwestern Seminary. Stuart served on staff at churches in Tennessee and Texas before moving to Savannah. He and his wife Natalie have a strong passion for developing friendships and mobilizing missions for the gospel. They were married in 2006 and have three children: Mayah, Gabriel, and Aiden.
Jon Humphreys oversees churchwide Discipleship. Jon received a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University and a Master of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon and his wife Laura were married in 2002 and have four kids Lydia, Joshua, Marianna, and Esther.
Michael works directly with all of our 6th-12th grade students. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological seminary. Michael and his wife Christina were married in 2011 and have a daughter named Audrey.
Kevin is the Children’s Pastor and joined Southside Baptist Church on January 1, 2019. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Austin Peay State University, and a Master of Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Kevin and his wife Anna were married in 2012 and have a daughter named Melina Ruth.
John joined staff in May of 2019 and gives leadership to all the Worship & Arts ministries. He has a passion to see the church live missionally and worship passionately in response to the Gospel. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, where he grew up a Kentucky fan and loves the outdoors, he came to Christ at Mission Fuge at Belmont University at age of seventeen. John received his undergrad from Campbellsville University, and Master of Arts in Worship from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. John has served on staff at churches in Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina before coming to Southside. He has led worship for retreats, conferences, and other events with modern band, choirs, and orchestras. He married his better half Jennifer in 2012, as they met through the mission field. John has led many teams (domestic and international) in over twenty countries for missions and worship. They have two children: Rion Kate and Ethan.
Cindy oversees the ministry to preschool children, birth through kindergarten. Cindy has worked in preschool and children’s ministry and children’s advocacy programs for over twenty-five years and has directed the preschool ministry at Southside for eighteen years. She and her husband Scott have been married for thirty-four years, and they have one daughter, Rebecca, a son-in-law, Stephen, and two grandchildren, Ethan and Ellie.
